1. What this site is

Cork & Cool publishes buying guides, comparisons and reference material about wine fridges, wine racks and wine preservation equipment. It is information, offered in good faith, to help you make your own decision.

2. What this site is not

  • Not laboratory testing. We do not physically test the products covered. We compare published manufacturer specifications, official documentation and verified owner reports, and we say so on every page. The method and its limits are set out in the editorial policy.
  • Not professional advice. Nothing here is electrical, construction, installation, legal or financial advice. Built-in appliance installation in particular can involve electrical work and cabinetry modification — use a qualified professional, and follow the manufacturer’s own manual over anything written here.
  • Not a retailer. We sell nothing, take no payments, hold no stock, and cannot help with orders, shipping, returns, repairs or warranty claims. Those are matters for the retailer or manufacturer.
  • Not a guarantee of specifications. Manufacturers revise, rename and discontinue models without notice. We source and date everything we publish, but the manufacturer’s current documentation is always the authority. Verify anything critical — especially cabinet dimensions and clearances — before you buy or cut anything.

3. Affiliate relationships

This site earns Amazon Associates commission on qualifying purchases made through its links, at no additional cost to you. Commission plays no part in how products are ranked. The full statement is in the affiliate disclosure, and you should read it as part of these terms.

4. Third-party links

We link to manufacturers, retailers, standards bodies and other publishers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy and security practices. Once you leave this site, their terms apply, not ours.

5. Intellectual property

The text, page structure, comparison tables, scoring approach and design of this site are owned by Janet Media Group. You are welcome to quote a reasonable extract with clear attribution and a link to the page. Wholesale republication, scraping the site to reproduce its content, or using it as training data for a model that reproduces it, are not permitted without written permission.

Photography is licensed stock used illustratively — the images on this site represent the category, not specific units, and are not photographs of the individual products discussed. Product names, model numbers and brand marks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively for identification. No endorsement by, or affiliation with, any manufacturer is implied.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure, scrape it in a way that degrades service for others, or submit false, abusive or automated content through the contact form. The contact form applies automated anti-spam checks and rate limits, and submissions that trip them are rejected.

7. No warranty

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will be uninterrupted. Where corrections are needed we make them — see §9.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Janet Media Group is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content — including any purchase decision, installation outcome, or damage to property or wine. Your remedy, if you are dissatisfied with the site, is to stop using it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Corrections

We would rather be corrected than be wrong. Report an error to contact@corkandcool.com or through the contact form; corrections are made on the page, noted there, and the update date is re-stamped.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The effective date above changes with them, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Janet Media Group is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
